Axial-tech Upgrades ROG Strix Gaming cards use our tried-and-true Axial-tech fan design, with three fans operating in unison to meet NVIDIA's new high-octane design's thermal needs. In comparison to sleeve bearings and other bearing types, the fans rely on twin-ball fan bearings to provide constant performance and a greater lifetime.	New Directions The fans have been intelligently calibrated, with a reversed spin for the central fan to prevent turbulence and a fan-stop mode that activates when the GPU temperature goes below 55 degrees.	MaxContact We employ a manufacturing procedure that increases the surface smoothness of the heat spreader at the microscopic level to get heat into the heatsink array effectively so that it can be whisked away by the powerful Axial-tech fans. The increased flatness provides for greater contact with the die, which aids in heat transmission.


Premium Components Top-of-the-line capacitors, chokes, and MOSFETs are used to deliver hundreds of watts in a millisecond. Our innovative Auto-Extreme automated production method is used to solder the Super Alloy Power II pieces to the PCB. Smooth back PCB joints and the elimination of human mistakes guarantee that each graphics card fulfills our stringent criteria.	FanConnect II Two PWM FanConnect connectors on the card's back give further DIY versatility. Chassis fans may be connected directly to the card and regulated using a curve dependent on CPU and GPU temperatures, enabling additional intake or exhaust for intensive 3D activities.	It’s Cooler Out Back Stainless Steel Bracket GPU Bracket Dual BIOS Vented Backplate Flipping the card exposes further design enhancements. A large backplate vent and a shorter PCB direct hot air away from the cooler and towards the chassis exhaust fans. A GPU bracket adds stability to the vital link between the die and the heat spreader. To preserve ports and give a more secure installation, the I/O bracket is composed of stainless steel. A conveniently located Dual Bios switch provides easy switching between "performance" and "quiet" mode for simple software-free tweaking of the card's default behavior.
