Axial-tech Upgrades ROG Strix Gaming cards use our tried-and-true Axial-tech fan design, with three fans operating in unison to meet NVIDIA's new high-octane design's thermal needs. In comparison to sleeve bearings and other bearing types, the fans rely on twin-ball fan bearings to provide constant performance and a greater lifetime.	New Directions The fans have been intelligently calibrated, with a reversed spin for the central fan to prevent turbulence and a fan-stop mode that activates when the GPU temperature goes below 55 degrees.	MaxContact We employ a manufacturing procedure that increases the surface smoothness of the heat spreader at the microscopic level to get heat into the heatsink array effectively so that it can be whisked away by the powerful Axial-tech fans. The increased flatness provides for greater contact with the die, which aids in heat transmission.
