Riello iDialog IDG 1200 Offline UPS 1200VA / 720W – Tower

The Riello iDialog IDG 1200 is a 1200VA / 720W offline (VFD) UPS that protects PCs, laptops, peripherals, and home entertainment from power cuts and surges. It is compact, fanless and silent, and plug-and-play, with six outlets (four battery-backed, two surge-protected), user-replaceable batteries, cold start, auto-restart, and free PowerShield monitoring software over USB.

OFFLINE (VFD) PROTECTION

In normal operation the load runs from the mains with surge and over-voltage protection. If the mains fails, the UPS switches to its inverter and battery within a few milliseconds and gives you time to save your work and shut down safely. Offline designs waste very little energy, with up to 99% efficiency.

1200VA / 720W

The iDialog IDG 1200 delivers 720W of real power from its 1200VA rating, enough for a desktop PC with monitor, a modem and router, a printer, or a TV with set-top box. Add up the watts of what you plan to connect and stay within 720W.

6 OUTLETS: 4 BATTERY-BACKED + 2 SURGE-PROTECTED

Four IEC C13 sockets are protected by the battery runtime, and two more provide surge and over-voltage protection only, so you can plug in non-critical items like printers and chargers without draining the battery.

FANLESS, SILENT OPERATION

With no cooling fan and high-frequency components, the unit runs silently, so it suits quiet offices, bedrooms, and home cinemas. Compact and ergonomic, it sits on a desktop, shelf, or floor.

ECO LINE ENERGY SAVING

A shut-off button cuts power use during prolonged inactivity.

COLD START AND AUTO-RESTART

Cold start lets the UPS power up from its battery even without mains power. Auto-restart brings it back automatically when the mains returns after a battery discharge.

USER-REPLACEABLE BATTERY (BATTERY SWAP)

The sealed maintenance-free VRLA AGM battery can be replaced by the user, so you can renew it without sending the UPS in for service.

USB + POWERSHIELD SOFTWARE

The built-in USB interface connects to a computer, and the free PowerShield software supports Windows, Linux, macOS, and Solaris. It saves open files and shuts the computer down safely if the battery runs low.

BATTERY AND INPUT PROTECTION

Protection against excessive battery discharge, over-voltage, and short circuit. Input is 220/230/240V (230V +20% / −25%), 50/60Hz with automatic selection.

RUNTIME

About 3 minutes at full load and about 6 minutes at typical load, enough to save work and shut down. For longer backup, step up to the iDialog IDG 1600.

The tower case measures 270 × 93 × 310mm (H × W × D). Two output cables are included.

BUYER NOTE

The iDialog IDG 1200 outputs a pseudo-sine wave on battery and has no voltage-regulation stage. It is designed for PCs, peripherals, modems and routers, and home electronics. For servers or equipment that needs a pure sine wave, choose an online UPS such as the Riello Sentinel range.
