Riello Sentinel Dual2 SD2 1000 Online UPS 1kVA / 1kW – 2U Rack/Tower

The Riello Sentinel Dual2 SD2 1000 is a 1kVA / 1kW single-phase online double-conversion UPS in a compact 2U rack/tower design. It delivers full rated power at unity power factor (kVA = kW) with efficiency of up to 93.7% in online mode, 8 EnergyShare outlets, a rotating LCD with LED status bar, and a Bluetooth mobile app for setup and monitoring. It is built for servers, storage, VoIP and network equipment, medical devices, emergency lighting, and safety systems.

ONLINE DOUBLE CONVERSION: CLEAN POWER ALL THE TIME

The SD2 rebuilds the output power continuously, so connected equipment always runs on clean, stable power. It protects against outages, voltage fluctuations, surges, and electrical interference, and has a built-in automatic bypass. This is the right topology for sensitive IT and medical equipment that cannot tolerate even a brief interruption.

1KVA = 1KW: UNITY POWER FACTOR

The SD2 1000 provides 1,000W of real power from its 1,000VA rating, so you can load it to its full rating. The older SDH 1000 gives only 900W from the same VA at 0.9 power factor, so the SD2 gives 100W more usable power in the same 2U size.

UP TO 93.7% EFFICIENCY

Online-mode efficiency reaches up to 93.7%, which lowers running cost and heat output. Smart Active and ECO operation reach up to 98% efficiency when mains quality allows.

WIDE INPUT RANGE

Input is 220/230/240V (selectable, ±20% at 230V), 50/60Hz. The UPS accepts 184–276V at full load and 140–276V at 50% load, so it copes with unstable mains without using its battery.

2U RACK OR TOWER

The SD2 is only 2U high (87mm) and fits standard 19-inch rack cabinets. It also works as a freestanding tower (450 × 87 × 425mm) with the included handles, or in a rack with optional rack supports. Plug-and-play installation keeps setup simple.

HOT-SWAP BATTERIES

Riello's Sentinel Dual2 uses a hot-swap battery system, so batteries can be replaced without switching the UPS off.

8 ENERGYSHARE OUTLETS

Eight IEC C13 (10A) outlets with EnergyShare management let you prioritise critical equipment, so key devices stay powered longer on battery while low-priority loads are shed.

ROTATING LCD + LED STATUS BAR

The LCD rotates 90° to read in rack or tower orientation. With the LED status bar, you can monitor the UPS in real time.

BLUETOOTH MOBILE APP

Set up and manage the UPS from a smartphone through the Bluetooth app, or configure it from a PC.

LOW-NOISE OPERATION
