The Riello Sentinel Dual2 SD2 3000 is a 3kVA / 3kW single-phase online double-conversion UPS in a compact 2U rack/tower design. It delivers full rated power at unity power factor (kVA = kW) with efficiency of up to 93.7% in online mode, EnergyShare outlets for intelligent load management, and a rotating LCD that shows status, load, and battery level. It is built for blade servers, storage systems, VoIP and network equipment, medical devices, emergency lighting, and safety systems.

ONLINE DOUBLE CONVERSION: CLEAN POWER ALL THE TIME

The SD2 rebuilds the output power continuously, so connected equipment always runs on clean, stable power. It protects against outages, voltage fluctuations, surges, and electrical interference. This is the right topology for sensitive IT and medical equipment that cannot tolerate even a brief interruption.

3KVA = 3KW: UNITY POWER FACTOR

The SD2 3000 provides 3,000W of real power from its 3,000VA rating, so you can load it to its full rating. The older SDH 3000 is rated 3000VA / 2700W at 0.9 power factor, so the SD2 gives 300W more usable power in the same 2U size. It suits high-density IT loads and blade servers.

UP TO 93.7% EFFICIENCY

Online-mode efficiency reaches up to 93.7%, which lowers running cost and heat output. Smart Active and ECO operation reach up to 98% efficiency when mains quality allows.

2U RACK OR TOWER

The SD2 is only 2U high and fits standard 19-inch rack cabinets. It also works as a tower (450 × 87 × 625mm). The sleek design supports both orientations.

ENERGYSHARE OUTLETS

EnergyShare outlets let you manage loads intelligently, so critical equipment stays powered longer on battery while lower-priority equipment is shed. Nine output sockets are provided.

ROTATING LCD DISPLAY

The LCD panel rotates to read in rack or tower orientation and shows UPS status, load, and battery level at a glance.

EXTENDED RUNTIME AVAILABLE

For longer backup, Riello offers extended runtime (ER) models of the 3000VA range, built to use external battery packs.
