Riello Sentinel Pro2 SP2 1000 A3 Online UPS 1kVA / 1kW – Tower

The Riello Sentinel Pro2 SP2 1000 is a 1kVA / 1kW single-phase online double-conversion UPS in a compact tower case. It delivers full rated power at unity power factor (kVA = kW), with efficiency of up to 93.7% in online mode, EnergyShare outlets for smart load management, an LCD with LED status bar, ECO and Smart Active modes, and an emergency function. It is built for servers, network equipment, voice and data systems, EPOS, and other sensitive loads.

ONLINE DOUBLE CONVERSION: CLEAN POWER ALL THE TIME

The SP2 rebuilds the output power continuously, so connected equipment always runs on clean, stable power. It protects against outages, voltage fluctuations, surges, and electrical interference. The unit is classified VFI-SS-111 under IEC 62040-3, with a sinusoidal output and 3:1 crest factor for non-linear IT loads.

1KVA = 1KW: UNITY POWER FACTOR

The SP2 1000 provides 1,000W of real power from its 1,000VA rating, so you can load it to its full rating. The older Sentinel Pro SEP 1000 is rated 1000VA / 900W, so the SP2 gives 100W more usable power. It also suits active-PFC server power supplies without oversizing the UPS.

UP TO 93.7% EFFICIENCY

Online-mode efficiency reaches up to 93.7%. ECO and Smart Active modes reach up to 98%, so you can balance protection against energy cost. A frequency converter mode lets the UPS output 50 or 60Hz regardless of the input frequency.

WIDE INPUT WINDOW

Input is 220/230/240V (±20% at 230V), 50/60Hz, with input power factor of 1. The UPS runs from 184–276V at full load and 140–276V at half load without using its battery. The bypass accepts 180–264V. The output frequency is selectable (50Hz, 60Hz, or auto-learning).

ENERGYSHARE OUTLETS

EnergyShare outlets automatically disconnect non-critical loads under configurable conditions, so critical equipment stays powered longer on battery.

EMERGENCY FUNCTION

The emergency function reduces the risk of overloads and keeps essential systems running.

LCD DISPLAY + LED STATUS BAR

The front-panel LCD shows input and output voltages and battery level, and an LED bar shows the UPS's operating status at a glance.

OVERLOAD CAPABILITY

The inverter handles 150% load for 1 second and 125% for 4 seconds, which covers short startup peaks.

LOW NOISE

Fans adjust automatically to the load to keep noise below 40 dBA.

An Extended Runtime (ER) version has no internal batteries and a larger charger for multiple external battery packs. A Supercaps option is available on the 1000VA model.
