Riello iDialog IDG 800 Offline UPS 800VA / 480W – Compact Tower

The Riello iDialog IDG 800 is an 800VA / 480W offline (VFD) UPS that protects PCs, laptops, modems, routers, and home entertainment from power cuts and surges. It is compact, fanless and silent, and plug-and-play, with four battery-backed outlets, cold start, auto-restart, and free PowerShield monitoring software over USB. It is the smallest model in the Riello iDialog range, sized for a single PC or a modem and router.

OFFLINE (VFD) PROTECTION

In normal operation the load runs from the mains with surge, over-voltage, and short-circuit protection. If the mains fails, the UPS switches to its inverter and battery within a few milliseconds and gives you time to save your work and shut down safely. Offline designs waste very little energy, with up to 99% efficiency.

800VA / 480W

The iDialog IDG 800 delivers 480W of real power from its 800VA rating, enough for a desktop PC with monitor, a modem and router, or a TV with set-top box. Add up the watts of what you plan to connect and stay within 480W.

4 BATTERY-BACKED OUTLETS

Four IEC C13 (10A) sockets are all protected by the battery runtime, so every connected device stays powered during a mains failure.

FANLESS, SILENT OPERATION

With no cooling fan, the unit runs silently, so it suits quiet offices, bedrooms, and home cinemas. It is compact and sits on a desktop, shelf, or floor.

ECO LINE ENERGY SAVING

Riello's ECO LINE design cuts power use, with up to 99% efficiency.

COLD START AND AUTO-RESTART

Cold start lets the UPS power up from its battery even without mains power. Auto-restart brings it back automatically when the mains returns after a battery discharge.

USB + POWERSHIELD SOFTWARE

The built-in USB interface connects to a computer, and the free PowerShield software supports Windows, Linux, macOS, and Solaris. It saves open files and shuts the computer down safely if the battery runs low. This model has no RS232 port.

PROTECTION AND INPUT TOLERANCE

Protection against excessive battery discharge, over-voltage, and short circuit. Input is 220/230/240V (230V +20% / −25%), 50/60Hz with automatic selection.

RUNTIME

About 5–6 minutes of battery runtime, enough to save work and shut down safely. For longer backup, step up to the iDialog IDG 1200 or 1600.

COMPACT TOWER, 3.2KG

The tower case measures 192 × 90 × 232mm (H × W × D), small enough to sit beside a monitor. Two output cables are included.

BUYER NOTE

The iDialog IDG 800 outputs a pseudo-sine wave on battery and has no voltage-regulation stage. It is designed for PCs, peripherals, modems and routers, and home electronics. For servers or equipment that needs a pure sine wave, choose an online UPS such as the Riello Sentinel range.
